PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia (TGI) and Medco Energi E&P Grissik Ltd (MEPG) have agreed to carry out the construction and operation of an MRU at TGI's natural gas metering station on Pulau Pemping – Batam as part of the GSA between MEPG & Petrochina Jabung Ltd. (PCJL) and the buyer in Singapore, and the facility is expected to be in operation from the beginning of 2025
The Head of the Oil and Gas Commercialisation Division of SKK Migas, Rayendra Sidik, accompanied by the Senior Manager for Pipeline Gas Monetisation of SKK Migas, Syarif Maulana Chaniago, witnessed the signing of the agreement for the construction and operation of the Mercury Removal Unit (MRU) by the President Director of TGI, A.A.P. Bagus Putra, the Business Development Director of TGI, Vinolia Suriyanto, and the director of Medco E&P Corridor and President Director of Medco E&P Indonesia, Ronald Gunawan, at The Energy Building, Jakarta, on Friday, 5 May 2023.
