To support the achievement of universal coverage for Indonesia’s national employment social security program, PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia (TGI) provided protection for 500 vulnerable workers. The event was held at the Jakarta Pusat City Hall Multipurpose Hall on 24 November 2025, attended by representatives from the Jakarta Pusat Manpower Office, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and TGI management.

The program included a briefing on the benefits of employment social security, followed by a symbolic handover of protection for vulnerable workers. Qomari Noorrizki, Head of the Jakarta Pusat Manpower Office, expressed appreciation to TGI for its contribution and encouraged other companies to take part in supporting vulnerable workers across Indonesia.

Vulnerable workers are individuals with high socio-economic risks and unstable or low income, making them susceptible to falling into extreme poverty if an accident or loss of income occurs. Through collaboration between the Government, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and socially responsible companies, this initiative aims to enhance the welfare of workers and their families.

TGI's Corporate Secretary, Emil Ismail, symbolically handed over 12-month employment injury and death benefit protection for 500 vulnerable workers in Jakarta Pusat and Belakang Padang District, Riau Islands. TGI keep supporting the Government’s efforts and ensuring workers feel safe and protected in carrying out their daily activities.
