PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia (TGI) Regional Office 2 Belilas held a three-day batik vocational training program for students of SLB Negeri Indragiri Hulu as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment. The program aims to support inclusive education, equip special needs students with practical skills, and promote self-reliance in the future.

The training was officially opened by the Regent of Indragiri Hulu, who also serves as Chair of the PKK, accompanied by local government representatives. The initiative received strong appreciation from both the regional government and the school community for empowering students through creative skills.

TGI Regional Office 2 Manager, Mr. Wendi Sumapraja, emphasized that the program aligns with the company’s CSR pillars, particularly in the economic sector, by fostering skills that can contribute to personal and community livelihoods while preserving Indonesian cultural heritage.

By supporting inclusive education and vocational skills, TGI hopes to inspire long-term benefits for local communities across its operational areas.
